Finally, the prayers of thousands of supporters have been brought to fruition! Azmat Hussain is the winner of Saregamapa Little Champs 2011!
Thanks to everyone for their love and their continuous voting. Azmat is such a great artist, singer, performer and such a great person. Hope winning the is just a stepping stone, for more fame and stardom. And most importantly, we hope to hear some great songs from him in the near future. With that, good luck Azmat miyan, and big congratulations!
In today’s episode, we saw something never seen before on this season of Saregama Little Champs. Our dearest cutie pie, the Jawan Mirch of Jaipur, the gotakhor Azmat had tears in his eyes 
In the last “battle” of the day, Azmat was pitched against Salman. Jatin ji was the judge of the day, and he declared Salman as the winner. Although of little consequence, this result was not at all liked by Azmat and made him very very upset, and brought tears to his eyes. He looked so sad.
In the end though, he came through in the national voting, moving one step closer to being the Little Champ. Azmat is now in the Finals!

Azmat redeems himself in the July 29th show, coming in at #1 spot in public voting! The public clearly loves him, as do all the judges. Alka Yagnik has come around and now seems totally smitten by our little Khan sahib. Perhaps eliminating him in the early rounds, and his comeback as a wildcard entry, was all a gimmick by the producers to generate a controversy and buzz around the show and increase the TRP ratings. That would be a really cheap stunt, if true.
Anyways, he is on the right track now. Darde-disco performance rocked! Go Azmat!

Azmat Hussain is a contestant in the 2011 SaReGaMaPa Little Champs on Zee TV. This 10 year old cutie pie comes from Jaipur. His journey to the Little Champs’ main stage started at the Delhi auditions. Coming from a musical family, this young boy has impressed all the judges with his brilliant singing, especially with his unique ‘gale mein ek khatak hai’ quality, as praised regularly by Javed Ali.

This is shocking! Azmat is the best singer in Little Champs and has been consistent throughout the contest. He has been eliminated today by none other than maha guru Alka Yagnik.
